    Questions and thoughts

    Where should it be held?

Should the event be held in both Sydney and Melbourne (Melbourne was planned in 2009 but later canceled in Melbourne due to drug related reasons)

Which DJ's/Producers of the Harder-style's should be present?

What should the Theme be for Defqon 1 2010?

Lets show the world we can do it harder :)

    I practically lived in the Orange arena haha, so whatever hardstyle/hardcore acts come out i'm quite happy. But as a Hard Trance fanatic i'd love to see the following;

    Fausto (Again)
    Lisa Lashes
Alex Kidd and/or Kidd Kaos (Again)
    ASYS
    Mark Sherry (Again)
    Luca Antolini
    Derb
    Kamui
    Louk
    Ueberdruck or Warmduscher
    Ultraform
    Vandall (Again)

Would love to see Defqon come to Melbourne this year, was a big disappointment for alot of people that couldn't make it to Sydney.

I have been thinking about this since september so... just to make it easier lets just say we want to see EVERYONE BACK!! Brennan Heart, Zany, Prophet, Deepack, Noisebontrollers Proteus, Art of Fighters, Kasparov, Endymion and the Playah were Sick!

Q-Dance have a contract at the Sydney Regatta Centre for a certain amount of years I believe so it will be staying there this year. I think the venue is perfect anyway :)

As for Melbourne... Fuck the G junkies. I applaud Q-Dance for taking it away from Victoria.

Sensation had the same problem again this year and I'm sure once their contract is finished at Etihad Stadium and ANZ stadium gets a roof, it will be moving to Sydney also :)

Regatta Centre was great... don't think there was enough shade but can't complain as I still had an awesome day!!

I would like to see Tatanka, Zatox and Deepack (yes again fkin loved them)

I don't think they will ever take a Q event there again but I do feel for the people that live there, love hardstyle and don't touch the sht cause it's ruined it for a lot of people!!

I don't think it's that much of a hassle for some of the Melbourne people anyways. Alot of the Melbournians actually came for Defqon and loved it. They didn't mind the travel.

Even keeping one Defqon event for Australia is much better as well. Keeps it exclusive.

I don't think it should be in Melbourne, I think it would ruin the experience if there was more than 1. There isn't more that 1 in Europe after all.

Be nice to have at least one Q-Dance event in Melb this year. Dont think a very small majority reflect on the majority.

Would like to see Defqon a nite event but know that wont happen. There just seems to be more magic at nite.

Zatox, Southstylers and Tatanka at Defqon 2010 would be awesome!

I only had to travel about 500km to Defqon and it was totally worth it, but out of a group of 12 only 2 of our crew made it up to Sydney.

The point is... IF all those Melbourne Ravers that didn't make the trip last year came how fast would the Regatta Centre fill???
Melbourne needs its own event because there's just too many hardstylers to put onto the one little island, and it's only going to get bigger.

We're not here for a G head debate, cause there's no debate... they're fucking stupid!!!!

I do see ur point but cause there is only one Defqon in Europe so in that respect i kind of agree with keeping it in Sydney.

It wasn't event THAT full dude. Yeah the Red stage was packed, but look at all of that extra space that left Grey, Orange and Purple.

If anything in the years to come they'll most likely be adding Blue / Brown stages and the likes so that would fill up the gaps but there's still plenty of room to add about 1000 more people.

Headhunterz, Technoboy, Showtek, Frontliner and David Sonar (Hardstyle)

Evil Activities, Endymion, Noize Suppressors, The Playah, Orphidian and The Predator (Hardcore)

The venue itself is excellent and should not be changed.
If the production team have the time, effort and soul then I say go for it if you want to have it in Melbourne too. Also consider Brisbane aswell. When you consider Defqon.1 in The Netherlands, they have people from all over the world (mainly Europe but still travel fairly long distances) come to the event. If I lived in any other state, I wouldnt hesitate to travel a few 100 Km's to visit Defqon.1 Sydney. It is TRUELY worth it.

The theme should be a "Wasteland" theme. ;) like a site of a Nuclear explosion...

Melbourne has Sensation and Sydney has Defqon.1 if people like the events so much then traveling isn't an issue. I think Instead of Sensation White they should have Sensation black or BLACK. Defqon.1 2010 baby !!! here i come !!!

After experiencing Sensation last week, I am happy to say that Defqon.1 Sydney was better :)

Regatta Centre has plenty of room for expansion and I'm sure capacity will increase this year!

From what I heard, the venue spot can hold a lot more people. Apparently Q-Dance really only wanted around 15,000 people for starters just to see how it would go and how many people it could take upto next time. Mainly a test to see how it would turn out. This year they will be increasing the 15,000 limit and hoping for atleast 20,000 or more this year.

Although it is only a little island but still room for expanding :)
