defqon 1 2010.........sniffer dogs??

Generally this sort of question is not allowed or generally even answered. But I can tell you honestly, all major events now days have high police presence and tight security checks.

Just for the general safety of everyone and sniffer dogs are generally enforced to sniff out dealers with larger quantities of drugs.

All I can say is that every event i have been too (well in Australia atleast), there have been tight security and sniffer dogs.

To be honest, im with you - YES they are annoying and sometimes do more harm than good by scaring patrons and making them 'dump' everything they have on them or possible throwing it away being a waste of money. Its mainly a scare tactic but you just never know.

Ohh and i forgot to mention, Australia's edition of Defqon was absolutely swarming with dogs. Never seen nothing like it and police everywhere, even inside patrolling. There was even detectives in suit pants, shirt and ties, walking around patrolling. Couldnt believe it - a hassle and scare to alot of patrons but what can ya do aye?

oh right sorry didnt know that we werent supposed to talk bout this stuff! ya i read about defqon australia alright that there was a big clamp down and some arrests! badbuzz! ya i get your point about them being there to clamp down on big drug dealers which makes sense!! sure we'll see how things go either way its gonna be one hell of a day!!!

Yeah its a good way to kill your buzz and you wouldnt wanna risk not getting into Defqon for being caught with drugs of some sort. A total shame if you ask me.

I couldnt really comment on events in the Netherlands but I know security checks are strict there and as for the U.S, well there just as bad here in Australia - if not worse.

But yeah try and keep drug talk to a minimum on these forums, no sourcing is allowed, no prices, and no ways of 'trying to break the law' or 'how to get past sniffer dogs tutorials' lol

Last year at the Regatta Centre it wasn't that strict!

Well, the VIP entrance wasn't that strict, i don't know about the normal entrance.

I haven't seen the 'SWAT' team nowhere.

Hehe ,i think it had something to do with you beeing VIP because they are alot stricter over there,then here for example.but i think you allrdy knew this

Have been there many times but i've never experienced they are that strict.

Yes, only the highway patrols and undercover pimped-police. They are bastards!

i got the solution:

don't do drugs and you can party everywhere.

and you don't have to worry.......
