...Feel Privileged to actually have Q-dance host events here for us all Aussies to experience what the Dutch are experiencing. They have brought nothing but absolute outstanding events and I have yet to attend a Q-dance event here to be 'let down'. Just doesnt happen. We are constantly blown away by every party you host.

    So good on' ya Q-dance!

Thank you for letting us Aussies share with what back home shares.

    :)

Im not entirely against all nu-style. Although I wish it stuck to the old roots of Hardstyle but it looks like a lot of producers have took all the complaints into consideration and its good to see some new hardstyle being released - is infact hard and back to the way it should be.

I really dont mind any sort of hardstyle aye.

    Q-Dance brought us DV8!!! Barfffffffffffffffffffffff!!!!

Nah actually I dont think dropping Transmission was a good idea but the owner of that favoured Q-Dance more, thus teaming up with them to bring more Q-Dance events here.

I dont like the idea of Transmission dying but after 'Magic City' I think Transmission had made a come back. It was essentially a "Transmission" and done by the same team.

Im not saying lets all bow down to Q-Dance arse, all Im saying is - I think were quite lucky to have events here in Australia. Just shows how big the scene is and the Dutch have acknowledged our growing scene and what we want from events.

Compared to other countries, I think we are quite lucky. Thats all. Without them, we wouldnt have a Defqon or Exqlusive. True or not?

Magic City wasn't a Transmission even come on, be honest!
    It was a Fusion event.

The Main area sucked, the other areas were brilliant! _O_

Defqon.1 is quite already, but less dutch dj's would have been better. AND NO DV8!!!

    X-Qlusive sucks, even in Holland.

HouseQlassics and InQontrol are their best events if you ask me!

    exactly right milzy,

Theres has not been a rave or event of Q-Dance that has been off the hook. Put it this way, it would be different living in Europe, experiencing all Q-Dance events and raves would be like us attending Transmission or Utopia here. Same crap. Over there im sure they will find things wrong with Q-Dance events.

All I can say is the Dutch REALLY known how to party and I'll give em credit for that. I dont see anyone else around me complaining about a Q-dance event, even saying it is better than ever to have Q-Dance running major events here.

Everyone might think Q-Dance has taken over our major raves or events but sif everyone is not enjoying it. At the end of the day...we still have original Aussies thats working of the events management and bringing Australia what we want to see.

    :)

The MAIN stage was q-dance, the other areas looked like the typical Transmission.
I skipped the MAIN stage the full night because of that DV8 loser.
This was my first Transmission that sucked so i'll never be there again.
I think it's a shame they choose for money over holding up the Transmission level high.

Look, i'm visiting events since 1995. Every two weeks an event for years back in Holland.
Since Q-Dance is the major organisation i'm visiting events 4 times a year.
    It's all the same man.
It doesn't matter what event you'll visit: everywhere same line-up.

I loved Pharmacy and Transmission. Now that Q-Dance 'took over' i'm seriously done partying in Australia.
    And i'm 100% dutch!
I know how to party like you said, but i'm done partying since Q-Dance is in Australia.

I must admit, Transmission was probably one of the best 'local' event we had in Australia for many years.

Powerhouse Productions (Utopia and etc) is probably the only big events we have left that are local and supporting our scene. Im not a fan of Powerhouse Productions at all and quality is going down the drain every year.

Your right what you say, its all about the money now days.

I can see your point of view, since 1995 I'm sure you have 'seen it all' and I can understand that standards get higher and events get boring and repetitive.

What would you suggest than Ofschoon? That we introduce another major event that is 100% Australian Owned?

I could sit here ALL night and day writing up an essay of all the pro's and con's of Q-Dance making a debut here and to some people (stuffing up our local major events) but what can you do man. Some people like it and some people hate it. Im not trying to brag Q-Dance but you should know yourself, how can local events compete with a Q-Dance setup and its reputation and International acts? To you it might be boring but to others its like "whoah"

I think what Q-dance has done in Australia far out weighs losing Transmission. Transmission Magic City 2007 featured Zany, Donkey Rollers, Jowan so its not like they never had "Fusion" Dj's before.
