Showtek and Qdance events

Same story like Ruffian?

Maybe they have spread their wings and are flying alone now...

Could be that they are not even in the country in June and July

Perhaps are they concentrating on a solo career

...

Showtek went their own way, wanted to go worldwide,

Now they are just a disgrace to hardstyle & money making idiots!

Still shocked they werent on the 10years line up though ..

first i liked them very much but they are to commercial now there style of songs have change so much sinds they go for the bick buck!

but i am not shocked that they arent on 10yoQ a.k.a. Feestfabriek

they aren't playing really the style that they played before.

What is that always about making lots of money... as if dj's do want to earn the minimum that they can,come one give me a break.everybody goes to work every day are doing it also for the money,i think ppl do not go to work because they like there boss so much.they have made a gamble and it turned out great for them.

Hey guys,in my opinion showtek have ruined themselves in the scene, once very well respected & Q-dance's main act for ages,all that & now to almost nothing,produces of hardstyle PAY ATTENTION the fans have spoken out,we will no longer put up with RUBBISH COMMERCIAL HAPPY MELODY DRIVEN HARDSTYLE,if i wanted to listen to that shit i would listened to Hard epic trance (fuk that shit),now you tell me the difference between modern day hardstyle & hardtrance the only thing that seperates them is the hardstyle kickdrums,the fans of hardstyle are sending a message GET BACK TO THE RAW HARDSTYLE,yes the music we all fell in love with & found fascinating 10 years ago but now just sounds all the same & boring infact is a disgrace,HEADHUNTERZ YOU ARE ON NOTICE harden up or fuck off to just like showtek,FUCK HAPPYHARDSYLE & BRING BACK THE HARD SHIT,it will be good when RAW STYLE takes over,who agree's with me guyz.(english please)

Maybe they are to busy with their world tours. And they are taking the commercial route, I suppose. Maybe to commercial for Q-dance. I know I still like Showtek. Maybe it has something to do with the DutchMaster/SlimSHore story??

From what i heard in the past when platinum-agency was set up they had a conflict with the boss of platinum itself what the problem was i don't rlly know but i know showtek went its own way.And after that they said that the music they made was no hs anymore.So i don't see the problem.

And Paulrampage you're making a big mistake the Raw hardstyle concept that you revert to is early hs from what i understand.and that one will never come back i think.The Nu-hardstyle as they call it was sort of build from the melodys.thats why ppl who loved early didn't like the nu-hardstyle (not all of them but a huge part i must say)And hhz did always produced this kind of hs along with all the other scantraxx artists (with exeption of a few tracks of hhz) and its kinda working as i see it.and now slowly but surely its starts to get a little harder. and pls do mind the caps next time.

Showtek are the WORST offenders when it comes to "trying" to make Hardstyle Commericial. If they think you'll have this type of music playing on ya everyday 'Top 40's' FM station - they're kidding themselves.

And thats pretty much what they want to do, and I have seen other producers take the 'Showtek Path' and go all pussy and produce shit. Now dont get me wrong, I dont mind their new tracks, they're new and refreshing but like someone just said - you become easily bored of the tracks FAR MORE quicker than most songs out there. Tracks are not 'banging' as they were and I give kudos to the producers out their that still produce banging hardstyle and actually stick to the old roots of Hardstyle.

Not this Trancey shit that is produced now days for Hardstyle. I love Hard Trance with a passion, but I also love Hard Dance, Hardstyle and Hardcore but they all should be kept seperate. Hardstyle seems to RIP OFF every other genre you can think of. Example - ripping off Hardcore in MANY MANY ways possible

I guess on the same token, music is EVER evolving and not even producers can stop that. It evolves over time and we all just have to go with the flow. Im loving the new Hardstyle but it should be more harder (without ripping off hardcore kicks) lol.

i agree that a lot of people think showtek is the real hardstyle . and i feel sorry for them coz their missing out on the real deal ! and i'm pretty glad their not in any qdance events anymore ... don't miss em !

being a dj is about keeping the crowd on the floor happy. dj's feed off the buzz of the crowd. if they are getting bad vibes from the crowd they change the direction of the music quicker than a heartbeat. superstar dj's are open to all styles of dance music apart from the obvious. after all they love music. if you are a dj and start getting skeptical about artist"s music then you really don't love dance music that much. its all about the love of the music. when the love stops then its time for you to stop. showtek top hard dance artists for last two years and again keeping the crowd happy. their music might not go down well with the minority but does go down well with the majority. yes i am going to say it you can't please everyone all the time.

again: same thing as with MC Ruffian. This guy has been on the (main)stage for years, and is almost the face of Q-Dance and they don't even arrange him for 10 Years Q. He's coming to Mysteryland again though. Hopefully we'll see more of him after that. Don't know what happened to him though, and the reason that he's not on stage anymore.

hes right showtek and there new style are liked by the majority. its suprising me how many people i know acually listen to and like showteks new tracks, people that i know never were into this kind of music are listening to showtek, but if you mention other hardstyle artist's name they would have no idea who they are. so in a way i beleive they have succeeded in what they set out to do. but yeah i agree well never hear this on commercial radio. i love the good old hardstyle but actually enjoy there new tracks aswell. theres no way this music was gonna stay the same, and it never will. gotta face that.

Im glad to see im not the only one been ranting andraving about how pish showtek are. early stuff from them back in the day, brilliant, then the made the "tiesto-esque" jump into the commercial market. as soon as their last album was released , followed by the most shockin remix of system f - out of the blue, it was confirmed, cheese merchants.they only draw a uk crowd cause the "chavs" like to run arouns singing "freaks on e".....plebs, dont try tellin us u know hardstyle when the only 2 acts u can name is alex kidd and showtek.

as for raw style....its always been there, its just evolving and more of the better producers are realising its what the crowd wants, none of this cheesy nonsense being released at will, worst offenders, scantraxx records

sry bout that they like raw that is made by mr failtox (zatox) and honastly i dont find old hs as raw old hs was just not so fast beat but rly hard beat with not so much melody but even slighties melody was so fking epic that was far better than any new melody taht is made atm i only like wildstylez and i think his most underrated dj of all "hs" djs now and by far the best until 2010 he didnt have any special performances and he got to play on qlimax same year as psyko punkz who r newbys and worst hardstyle djs ever tbh that is just not but not fair i want qlimax 2008 to happen again and 2007 and 2006 ssame for defqon 1 those were the best years ofc older stuff aswel but for me those 3 years were the best in hs

+ showtek made the most legendray thing and that is the colours of the harder style that is pure hardstyle and the best hardstyle song to me 2nd best is deepack the prophecy those 2 songs r what hardstyle is and what is should be
