Qlimax 2010 as an englishman

Everyone I met in Holland spoke some level of English.

Depends on what level of ticket you want. Regular were around 45 euro and VIP were 75.

Getting to Qlimax is fairly easy once you do a little research. You can take a train to Arnhem from the Amsterdam airport. Once you get off the train and out of station there is a bus stop that takes direct to the Gelerdome.

As an American it was fairly simple.

You should be fine with your provisonal liscence. To be honest I didn't see anyone getting checked for ID. Me and my mates didn't and we all look very young.

Yeah, almost everyone can speak english over there, so its not too bad.

As said, tickets are either 45 Euro or 75 Euro depending if you want VIP or not.

For me getting to Qlimax was easier than expected. We arrived in Amsterdam on the Friday, (We chose to stay in amsterdam because theres loads more to do there than there is in Arnhem). And then we got the train down to Arnhem at about 7pm on the Saturday for Qlimax! You'll know where your going because there are dozens of people in the train station who you can tell are going to Qlimax by the way they dress etc.

The train was about 25Euro for a return ticket from Amsterdam to Arnhem, and it takes just over an hour. Once in Arnhem, Q-Dance organised buses to come pick us up from Arnhem train station and take us to the Gelredome which was about a 10 minute drive away.

Although im not 18 until December
I still wouldn't take the chance to be refused entry.
Guess it'll be qlimax 2011 for me and my mates.

Still whats the average clubs like in Netherlands are they pretty good are there any events that don't require tickets or anything during the summer as a few of my mates are planning to head over in the summer for a break from studies and such.

I have never been asked for id at qlimax but i always bring it just incase, if your coming from england, surely your have your passport on you its easy to get to, i get a flight from gatwick to amsterdam the get the train from the airport to arnhem, then a 3 euro bus to the gelredome,

I wanna go to qlimax in 2011 summer but I wonder about accommodation. I will come from Turkey and I know nowhere in Netherlands also. Do you advise me to stay in Amsterdam or is it possible to stay in a good hotel in Arnhem as a single girl Btw I don't know when to come, one day before qlimax is appropriate?

Hi, first lets straight it out that qlimax is not in the summer, but in fall. But if you still want to come, there are enough descent hotels in and around arnhem, so you don't have to worry. I would advise you not the come on the same day as the event, who knows you are delayed and you will miss it. So one or two days in advance seems like a good idea.

Well, I have checked the calendar wrong, I wanted to ask about Defqon 1 in summer, sorry. So I think I will find accurate info and kind help in here. Thanks!
