    Hi

    I would like to ask if anyone knows a good or cheap place to sleep near Defcon 1..any kind of motel/hotel in that area

    Because we planned to arrive 1 day before and then enjoy Defcon 1. were we then leave the day after the event.

    we are sleeping 1or2 nights in the back of our car, living like a gipsy! :D

    search for hotles n almere...thats how i got myn...fur two nyts n a 4 star hotel for me n my boyfriend was £167..

    Yes why sleep hehe funny :)

    But i need my rest and my friends car is way to small for 4 people to sleep in :D

    Ill try google almere and hotels but any recommendet places are welcome in this thread ...cheers

    I tryed to google around and i found some hotels near defcon 1 but they are like 17 -25 km from the event. And i want something that is closer to the event. Please help me out

    We need somewhere to sleep this time also. Been Qlimax twice and because it finishes at like 7am by the time you get the train you can go straight to pub but Defqon finishes at 11pm sooo we definately need somewhere to sleep also lol.

    just google it. its near almere so u prolly can get some cheap place to stay. otherwise take a look at hostels near amsterdam central u got very cheap places there and its easy to go by train from amsterdam to defqon and back.....

    Stay and sleep in Amsterdam and transport to Defqon by train.
    Or find a hotel in Almere, visit DQ and you'll be able to go to the DQ Afterparty from 22:00 till 06:00 :6 (http://partyflock.nl/party/176022:dq_A_Afterparty.html)

    hire out a van and then the 4 of u can sleep in the back!! iv ended up sleeing in a tiny Corsa at qbase and hardbass now.. its not fun but does the trick! :P

    Sleeping in a car or van is not really great but it works just fine, and its enhances the experience. But if you want to be on the safe and comfortable side :) then i would suggest that you rent a flat or room. Easy and cheap. Worked fine for me the last time.
