    Questions and thoughts

    Where should it be held?

Should the event be held in both Sydney and Melbourne

Which DJ's/Producers of the Harder-style's should be present?

What should the Theme be for Defqon 1 2010?

That's easy... First of all the regatta Center Again

Only In Sydney so its 1 big one... More People will go.. more people = Better Vibe

All The Big Names.. Noizecontrollerz, headhunterz, The Prophet And Wildstylez.

And the Theme Should be something Like The movie Avatar with the tree people Or One With Nature ect.. tree people on an Island dancing to Psychedelic that's DefQon.1 2010 Right There ;)

Thats stupid. Do you have any idea how hot it gets in Penrith? Last Q-Dance was decent weather, if everyone's dressed in black half of the festival goers will faint from heat exhaustion.

Save the 'black' parties will for indoor, air-conditioned venues ;)

Also, the tree people/Psy theme would be brilliant for an outdoor party.

    Red should have:
    - Southstylers as live act (since zany has played at every mainstage in defqon history and we've had zany and dkrollers twice in the last year) OR DHHD as live act
    - D-block & S-Te-Fan with the anthem since they had such a big year with q-dance last year
    - Zatox vs activator Or tat and zat Or tatact
    - Coone
    - frontliner b2b b-front
    - deepack (again)
    - bioweapon (as an aussie dj on the mainstage)
    - ivan carstan
    - dj isaac with hardtrance opening and abit of early hardstyle

Hardcore room last year went off, and this year its only gonna get better. You just have to look at Defqon.1 each year for the Netherlands only to see it DOES get better every year. Q-Dance thrive on making the ultimate party for everyone and thats their passion.

Whatever Q-Dance party we attend, its sure to excellence!

sadly i missed last yeah but this year i am gonna be there for sure
after seing the line up tho from last year would enjoy more hardcore tho missed out for the last 9 years i was here heard true holland this was coming here lol

Q-dance geeft alle mensen met een Nederlands paspoort die in oranje kleding komen gratis entree.

Zijn er mensen die hierdoor overgehaald zijn?

Good to see someone else went from the west coast last year. Cant wait to make the trip again this year. Although hopefully Magic City first!

As for the Melbourne v Sydney debate. I think a smaller event Q Dance event should go to Melbourne. Leave Defqon in Sydney but maybe Q Base in Melbourne. After all Melbourne is home to the shuffle. Share the love.

If you bulid it they will come!

i know im coming in a bit late but i agree with the others, DefQon.1 needs to stay in sydney (im a melbourner and i say that) mainly cos australian hardstyle is practically based over there. this year i reckon a good lineup would be: (RED) Headhunterz & Wildstylez (or them individually), Noisecontrollers, Zany, Technoboy, Davide Sonar, Tat & Zat, Crypsis and Bioweapon or Toneshifterz. (BLACK) Endymion, Tha Playah, Angerfist, Kasparov, Neophyte, Evil Activities and The Genesis Projection. (PURPLE) S-Dee & Tox!c, Hellraiser, Soul-T, Audio Damage, Gatty, Karpe-DM and Nik Fish & Amber Savage. pity im only 16 and cant witness prolly one of the most exciting events of my life till 2 years from now.....lucky me....

    Yeah last year was unbeliveable,

you just get a buzz by walking inside the place

especially after hearing the hard bass on the bus trip there without being able to see the venue!!!

    WE NEED MORE HARD TRANCE

    Alex Kidd vs Kidd Kaos
    SA.VEE.OH / Max Savietto
    Derb
    Kamui
    Louk
    Walt
    Log one & Wragg
    Tommy Pulse
    Fausto
    John 00 Flemming
    Andrea Montorsi
    Organ Donors

    To name a few!

Definately worth the trip from whereever?? you are!!!!

HARD HARD trance is what everyone wants! :D :D

there should DEFINATELY be only 1 Defqon.1 festival in australia.. & sydney is australia's international capital (its the main point of arrival from all overseas travellers). plus the whether is more stable usually when compared to melbourne. i agree melbourne should def get a Q-dance event, like a "Sound of Q-Dance", but def leave defqon where it is! anyone who REALLY loves the music & the scene will make the trip

I agree, should only stay in the one place. Otherwise theres nothing special about it. Take Netherlands for example. You have everyone from all over Europe travelling there just for the weekend to go to Defqon. People all over the world also travel there.

We are very fortunate to even have this is Australia. Its easy for Europeans to travel to Almere Strand for the weekend and Im sure its just as easy for any Australian to travel to Sydney. Can be a costly weekend if your travelling from far away but its totally worth your while!

On the other hand to make it fair, I suppose if the scene continues to grow over in the United States - they too might get their fair share of Defqon.1 but it could take years just like it did with us for Q-Dance to realise its what our 'scene' wants.

Whoever just came up with the idea of a "smaller Q-dance event" held in melbourne, thanks for the idea. I'm nearest melbourne and I cannot make the trip, how am I supposed to get my dose of hardstyle concert in my life? Q-dance has only bothered to do Defqon.1 in sydney and havnt compensated for everyone like me thats stuck with sensation, thats shit plain and simple. melbourne is the home of the melbourne shuffle.

    Maybe that's the reason.

Q-Dance doesn't want to be linked to a lame dance.
